Don’t forget! It’s Craftacular this Saturday!

.
Just a quick note to remind you that this Saturday I won’t be trading at Broadway, but instead will be at Craftacular in Bethnal Green (read more about this in my earlier post).
.
As well as selling my usual heart tarts & cakes, I’ll be selling my new homemade lemonades (with honey, vanilla extract & sparkling water), banana strawberry frozen yogurt smoothies, & croissant sandwiches.
.
Don’t miss out! Come & say hi!

  7. Hi – I just wanted to let you know how much of an inspiration you are to me. I have been following your blog for a couple of years now….I’m obsessed with it! I check a couple of times a week to see if you have made a new entry!! I dream of doing exactly what you are doing – running a market stall – only on the other side of the world (Oz). I have a 3 month old little boy and to be honest, I don’t know how you do it with 2 kids!! I feel like my dream has to wait a while until my son is older. In the meantime I will continue to be a HUGE fan – thank you for inspiring me and keeping my dream alive.

    Robyn xx

  8. Robyn,
what you have written really cheered me up, thank you!! I still can’t get over the fact that someone from the otherside of the world is reading what I am writing…!
    .
I started my stall when my eldest was about one & a half years old. The first year of his life was the ‘incubation’ period – when I was dreaming all sorts while breast feeding!! I have lots of help from D & my parents when it comes to childcare. I don’t think I could’ve done this otherwise!
    .
Good luck with your dream of running a stall Robyn! I’m sure it’ll be a success when you do do it!
    xx

  13. Hey Tamami!

So how did it go at the end of Craftacular?! Did you sell out? I hope so!

I’ve been meaning to tell you about a friend of Chris’s who runs a secret restaurant in Camden. We haven’t been yet, but we have tasted her food and been round to her flat and both are pretty special. So since I know you are a bit of a foodie, here is her blog if you fancy checking it out.

  17. Hi there,

I can’t work out how to contact you from you blog so am leaving a comment! I sampled some of your amazing cakes at Craftacular this year. I wondered if you’d be interested in taking part in a pop up shop in Clerkenwell for 3 days in August? We’ve got a nice selection of design and beauty elements, and would really benefit from someone selling refreshments. The council has given us the shop for free, which is super, we are just asking people to chip in a little bit for flyers and the like. Sooo, if you are interested and free from 5-7th August let me know asap. Thanks!

  21. Love this post. Are you still doing your markets? Broadway Market wouldn’t be the same without your heart shaped tarts there! I did some of mine in heart tins the other week and surprise, surprise, they sold first – thanks again for the inspiration! (Ann – from T Ann Cake – visited your stall in June) x
