Hi… Just a very quick note to say that I won’t be working this week… Sorry for letting you know in such last minute… I hope I haven’t messed up anyone’s plans on visiting… – There’s a good reason why I can’t work, but…, I don’t feel like telling you until the situation has calmed down. Cookbook I like: REAL FAST FOOD BY NIGEL SLATER
It's one of my food-porn books that I take on train journeys instead of a novel. ~ I like that this book is just words, no pictures. Normally I would have said that every cookbook ought to have pictures for ALL the recipes, but, I make this the exception. The recipes read so well, that I can picture the dish being cooked in my mind...

I was so happy when my husband sent me the link to your blog. I see you every saturday and I just love your cakes, so yummy!
The other day, me and my friend Silvia we saw you and your kids all happy with a completely sold-out stall at 2pm and this cheered us up BIG TIME! So good to see the faces behind the product specially when it’s such a good product to buy! I really would like to send you an email, but I couldn’t find your address here. Well, me and Silvia (this friend of mine) we are two girls from Brazil, living in Hackney, I’m a graphic designer and she works with Marketing. And we both have a dream of having our own craft business. Now, this dream is coming to life, we’re starting a little production, making a website and we would love to start selling on markets, like the broadway, that’s just on the corner of our houses! So, I’m here to ask you for advices. As not being in London for a long time, everything sounds complicated for us. So, would you like to be my virtual (and who knows real) friend and tell us your experience as a business-woman?
Is there a queue for a stall at the market? Do we need to have some kind of registration as a business? Will we pay taxes over our profits?
Oh…you might be thinking: who’s this crazy woman with all this questions? hahaha, but actually, I might be a bit crazy but I’m a good heart person, and I the fact that I recently found your blog gave me the strengh to keep going on with my dream, and trying to make it true!
